Campfire Cones

Dessert is huge in my house so when I saw these delectable little treats on tv this morning I knew I had to make them. There I was, Sunday morning, sipping my coffee on the couch, flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch and I stumbled upon The Pioneer Woman (I’m a sucker for a cooking show). She was making amazing looking quesadillas (I’m also a sucker for a good quesadilla) on the grill. Then for dessert she made campfire cones (also on the grill) and I drooled.

A few hours later I ventured out to the store to pick up all the needed ingredients (for the quesadillas too because I also made those). After dinner we put these together and we all loved them!

You can fill the cones with whatever you want. On her show they had everything from M&M’s and peanut butter cups to strawberries and blueberries. We decided to stick to the good old fashioned s’mores. And they were so good!

Ingredients:

Waffle cones

Marshmallows

Hersey’s chocolate

broken up graham crackers

Whatever else you want to put in there

Directions:

1. Stuff the hell out of the cone with all your fixings

2. Wrap in aluminum foil (make sure to somewhat pack the top so that everything doesn’t fall out when you lay it down

3. Heat on grill for 3-5 mins (we put ours in an aluminum tray instead of directly on the grill). You can also bake in the oven at 350 for 5-10 minutes

4.Let cool and enjoy!
